About the Undercovered Attacks Database

The Undercovered Attacks Database (UAD) is meant to highlight acts of terrorism that did not receive widespread media coverage in the United States. The UAD acts as a supplement to the Active Intelligence Database, including attacks that were of considerable size but did not receive media coverage from a top U.S. news source. It is the hope of the Rise To Peace team that this resource can act as a mechanism for researchers, journalists, and fellow concerned people to maintain awareness of international violence even when the information is not readily available.

A more complete set of source information is available in the AID Source Archives tab of the Active Intelligence Database section of the website. For a more complete description of the methodology of the AID or UAD, see their respective methodology tabs.
