People, knowledge and practical work

What gives people the tools to build a different future?

Rise to Peace began from lived experience of war and grew into a global platform for leadership, education, research, technology, community projects, public dialogue and collaboration. Security remains part of the work; it is not its limit.

2016–2026

A decade of work.

The six pillars explain what Rise to Peace does. This chronology shows the people, projects, publications, conferences, media and documented work behind it.

Pillar 03 of 06

Community-Led Projects

Locally informed ideas move from an identified need toward research, design, partnerships and practical delivery when resources are secured.

How it works

  1. A community member identifies a real need
  2. The team researches the problem and designs a response
  3. Costs, partners and potential support are assessed
  4. A pilot or implementation proceeds when appropriate resources are secured
