Active Intelligence and Terrorism Data Internship

-Data Processing and Entry into Active Intelligence Database (2-3 days a week)
-Weekly articles on topical terrorism content with a focus on terrorism data
-Research and writing for long term reports on topics including but not limited to: children and extremism, Countering Violent Extremism (CVE)
-Assistance in promoting and executing events in the DC area including panels and community awareness events
-Assistance on various initiatives including new web resources, campaigns, and projects
-Total time commitment: 10 hours per week (remote)

-Builds topical knowledge on terrorism and international security
-Gains expertise in event planning and social media maintenance
-Data entry and analysis experience
-Flexible, remote work schedule
-Openness to intern leadership and design of projects and initiatives

-Strong interpersonal and public communication skills
-Academic interest in terrorism or international security
-Experience in open source research and analysis

Internships are unpaid at this time. Rise To Peace will work with an undergraduate institution in order for interns to receive academic credit for their work.
