Not Everyone Joined Because They Needed a Job
Some participants were students. Others already worked full-time in government, finance, technology, education, healthcare, law enforcement or intelligence and wanted experience in foreign affairs, research or public-interest work. Rise to Peace gave them projects, editorial feedback, publication opportunities, mentorship and a professional network they could carry into the rest of their careers.
