WarGuy: The Founder Story Becomes a Memoir
Ahmad Shah Mohibi published WarGuy: A True Story of an Afghan Boy Born in War. Built by War. Freed in America. The memoir places the founder’s personal history—war, family, public service and the 2021 Kabul evacuation—on the record alongside the institution it helped inspire.
The story
What happened—and what it changed.
This milestone is part of the longer institutional record: one experience, decision or project contributing to the methods and public work Rise to Peace carries forward today.
